Our Mission
The mission of the Jewel Levine Foundation is to provide hope, support and monetary assistance to families who are under financial duress caused by life threatening medical conditions or extreme circumstances. The foundation has raised over $500,000 for families in need, since it was started in September 2016.
Who was Jewel?
“Although Jewel Levine was my grandmother, she was also one of the most inspirational and selfless individuals I have ever met. My grandmother had kidney failure in her late 60’s and decided not to have a kidney transplant. For over 15 years she had to endure dialysis treatment 3 days a week. She called dialysis treatment, her “day at the spa!”
During this period Jewel faced numerous complications, however she never complained. She was always upbeat and so inspirational. Jewel sadly passed away in 2013, but we hope to keep her positive spirit alive through our foundation.”
