Alec Marquis graduated from California State University Chico in 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. He was an active member in Lambda Chi Alpha, with some of his accomplishments including; elected as Vice President, raising money and food for Feeding America, volunteering at food pantries and helped at the Oroville Evacuation Center during the Oroville Dam Crisis of 2017.

In 2018 Alec was elected to the board of directors of The Jewel Levine Foundation. Currently his primary responsibilities are website development, digital marketing and managing the social media platforms for the Annual Crawfish Boil and July 4th 5K/10K Run.

After college, he pursued a career in ad tech, working for TikTok and now is at The Trade Desk in Account Management. When he isn't working or helping with the foundation, he enjoys working on his glassblowing business.
